The Blue Door on Church Street

Great house, centrally located for our Maui activities. Three separate living areas that worked well for our group of seven, but still able to get everyone together for things like shared meals. Very clean, organized and well outfitted for our needs. Enjoyed our stay.

Eric was super friendly and accommodating during our stay. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to check out of a separate Airbnb early leaving us to find something to do from 11-4pm. Eric was kind enough to allow us to store our luggage on the property to ensure it was safe until check in. Additionally, we were warmly welcomed by Sherry (cleaner). She was helpful in storing our luggage prior to check in and ensured we had a clean space during our stay. She gave us information regarding where the locals eat and beaches that worked best for our preferences. We truly enjoyed meeting her and know she was vital to our excellent stay. The property was beautiful, relaxing, and comfortable. It looked exactly like the photos and was a wonderful place to unwind. We loved our stay!

I can't say enough good things about Eric's place! The apartment is beautiful, with a modern feel and charming historical touches. We loved relaxing on the lanai and appreciated having access to the laundry room. We also enjoyed walking to The Parlay for dinner and hiking at Iao Valley State Park, which offered beautiful views! The location was ideal, just a short Uber ride to Paia, one of our favorite areas, with its great beaches, shopping, and restaurants. Eric was also an excellent communicator and made everything easy. We would highly recommend staying here!

Great place to stay! Very walkable neighborhood and cute little back yard area. The large deck was amazing and the layout of the home is really cool and effective.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here for our honeymoon! From the moment we arrived, everything was exactly what we hoped for and more. The property was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and such a perfect place to come back to after spending our days exploring Maui. The location was great for everything we wanted to do, and we truly felt at home during our stay. Our host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful, which made the experience even better. This was such a special trip for us, and staying here was a huge part of what made our honeymoon so memorable. We made memories that we’ll cherish forever and were genuinely sad to leave! We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Maui. 🌺🤍 Mahalo for such an amazing stay!

Great spot

We had to change our plans last minute due to storms and quickly needed a place to stay for a couple nights. Eric’s place was available and he was flexible with getting us a place to stay very last minute. The place was nice and exactly how it was described. Very grateful!

The place was in a great neighborhood, conveniently located to local restaurants and stores and outdoor attractions like the Iao needle. The place even had a cooler and foldable beach chairs we took to watch the sunset at Haleakala! Very nice house with everything we needed and beautifully decorated. Eric was also responsive and gave great local recommendations.

What a perfect place to stay central to many things around Maui

This is our second time staying at this unit. It’s very convenient and close to our family, which is a huge plus for us. The place is always clean, comfortable, and spacious. We’ve really enjoyed both of our stays and would definitely stay here again! Mahalo

Our stay at The Blue Door was so beautiful. For a neighborhood-y area it was very quiet and tucked away! It felt like we were in our own little world. The neighbors were quiet, the chickens were great greeters at our door. Eric was a wonderful host and we would love to return one day. Thank you Eric!

We had a great stay! Eric was very accommodating and accepted our last-minute booking, which we really appreciated. There was a small issue after we checked in, but the host responded quickly and took care of it right away. Communication was excellent throughout our stay. The house was nice, clean, and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Eric was an incredibly responsive host, and I had a great stay! The space was very clean and had everything I needed. I really appreciated all of the amenities, especially the well-stocked kitchen—I ended up using the air fryer quite a bit, and once I realized there were hot plates available too, it made cooking even easier. The outdoor space was such a nice bonus, and the little chickens and three baby chicks outside were so cute and fun to see during the stay. Overall, everything was comfortable, convenient, and thoughtfully set up. 10/10 — I would absolutely recommend staying here!

This was one of the best stays at an Airbnb. The host was very responsive and gave us several recommendations for things to do while our stay in Maui. The place was super nice and very clean. This was a perfect place to stay with my family.

We had a great stay with our five month old baby. They provided a pack and play, and the space was spotless. There’s no full kitchen, but we had everything you needed to make meals with the air fryer and hot plate. The bathroom was also fantastic. Great shower. Host was very helpful in answering our questions as well!

Lovely place. My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others. Eric was an exceptional host! Very communicative, attentive, and always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed, especially during the storm watch in Maui. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. Eric's place is exactly like the photos. spacious and well designed. Love the bathroom and rain shower. Beds comfy and A/C is great. Best part is the patio where we spent most of our time. The fold out couch bed is excellent, and we never felt the place was small for five of us. The location is a great spot for seeing much of the island and close to Whole Foods. We swam every morning in the Kahekili Beach Park, a 10 minute drive and almost secluded, followed by Maui Juice Co smoothies which are incredible. The better restaurants in Maui are about a 30 minute drive away. The neighborhood is basic but we enjoyed being away from all the resorts.

Great place to stay!

Beautiful home, great location, responsive host. We had a large group of 7 adults and 1 child that occupied all three villas and it was the perfect fit! Everything was as described, quiet neighborhood and beautiful landscaping. Even a bonus to have beach chairs, ice chests and beach umbrellas making our beach days so much more enjoyable. We truly enjoyed our time in the home and on the island. Lots of great places to eat, shop and explore.
